GroundSwell presents Pressure Waves: an intense weeklong summer composition workshop that grants emerging composers the opportunity to work closely with professional chamber musicians and a mentor/composer. During the workshop the emerging composers will be creating a new piece for the guest artists, to be premiered in a final recital at the end of the week.

This year GroundSwell assembles composer Nicole Lizée, vocalist Sarah Jo Kirsch and percussionist Victoria Sparks.
