Known for its diverse programming, GroundSwell champions everything from inspiring interpretations of 20th century classics to audacious multi-disciplinary projects that fuse visual art, theatre, dance, and the written word.

GroundSwell’s Artistic Directors — Gordon Fitzell, Jim Hiscott, and Michael Matthews, and special guest curators take turns presenting imaginative new music programs featuring the very best local and international talent. Accomplished composers in their own right, GroundSwell’s curators strive to seek out and promote the best of world’s diverse and vibrant new music scene.
