What nourishes you? Us? Our planet? What happens when life necessities are absent? Food and water, song and play, community and solitude – get off the grid for a few hours and explore SUSTENANCE at its source. With support from Canada’s Council for the Arts Create and Explore program and SOCAN, violinist and guest curator Elation Pauls brings this banquet of sound to you in anticipation of her debut album to be released this fall on the SPEKTRAL label with renowned Canadian composer-pianists David Braid and Serouj Kradjian performing their own works. Including five Manitoban Premieres and one World Premiere, Canadian composers Carmen BradenCris DerksenIman Habibi and Kelly-Marie Murphy will also be featured on this evening of powerhouse works for solo violin and violin and piano duo.
