In December 2025, GroundSwell was awarded a grant from the Manitoba Arts Council to do a feasibility study on starting a Winnipeg based music collective, where small to mid-sized non-profit music organizations can share resources and grow stronger together. We have hired Relish Ideas to facilitate the study led by Debra Fehr. Over the next 6 months we will be researching the needs of the sector and how this can look.
